Jersey knit in an 88% polyester / 12% elastane blend, made from ATY yarn.
ATY (air-textured yarn) is a good substitute for the synthetic hand of false-twist textured yarns. ATY fabrics have a cotton-like hand while keeping the advantages of synthetic fibres and avoiding cotton’s drawbacks, such as shrinkage or creasing after washing.
The knit is stretchy and soft to the touch, and works well in yoga wear, sports leggings and tights. Functional finishes are available to order: moisture-wicking, quick-drying and antibacterial.
